Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer
SNAICC: National Voice for our Children is looking for an Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer to strengthen and promote SNAICC’s role as a national voice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families, located at SNAICC’s office in North Fitzroy, Melbourne.
A twelve month, fixed term maternity leave position, the Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer will continue to secure the long-term future of SNAICC by building its capacity, reputation, relevance, project reach, income streams and partnerships and projects. Additionally, the Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer will lead the development and implementation of SNAICC’s advocacy and leadership strategies, and manage the development of strategic and operational plans, budgets and financial reporting, and staff management.
This opportunity is ideal for an exceptional individual with the ability to engage with and influence government; having established relationships with key political stakeholders will be highly regarded. Significant management experience and demonstrated advocacy working and liaising with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is essential.
