As a result of a restructure due to recent growth in our Women’s Services programs, we have an exciting opportunity for the right person.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing three teams providing women’s transitional services to WAYSS clients across communities in the Cities of Greater Dandenong, Casey, Frankston and the Shire of Cardinia.

The focus of the service provision is to women and their children who are homeless and/or at risk of homelessness by providing effective and responsive assessment, referral and support through our Family Violence Outreach and Women’s Outreach programs.

To be successful in this role you will have a relevant tertiary qualification, with demonstrated experience , knowledge and skills in;
• Leading, the development and management of teams
• A commitment to providing quality services in the sector
• The successful application of current theory relating to the provision of Family Violence services in the homelessness sector
• The Victorian legal system and how it specifically relates to Family Violence
• Developing, fostering and maintaining partnerships
• The financial management of funded agencies
About Us: You will be joining a leader in the provision of support services in response to family violence and homelessness. WAYSS was a major contributor of submissions to the Royal Commission into family violence in Victoria and many of our recommendations were endorsed by the Commission.

Your Terms and Conditions are subject to the WAYSS enterprise agreement which includes five weeks annual leave and a generous salary packing option. Salary is subject to qualifications and experience.
