This is an exciting career opportunity to join one of Australia’s best known NFPs in an important new leadership role. With vital services across Australia, the time is perfect to build upon their successful funding streams and take them to a much higher level, working with a small national team.

Reporting at executive level, your most critical responsibilities are
– developing a national strategy to improve revenue from Government and other public and private sources requiring formal grants and tenders, and providing advice on emerging trends and opportunities
– leading a successful application program through your own specialist expertise and with the support of capable team members
– building relationships and stewardship with financial supporters/donors
– managing a portfolio of responsibilities such as staff leadership and collegiate communications across the national organisation.

For this pivotal role you will need to be a strategic thinker with demonstrated experience in successfully writing high-quality major tenders and grant applications. You must have experience in leading and managing a small team, helping them to continuously develop and grow, and ensuring a high performance team culture that supports the achievement of its positive goals and targets. Sound interpersonal skills are essential to support your endeavours in all aspects of your responsibilities.

Ideally, the role is Melbourne-based but interstate applications will also be considered.
