About the Role
The Community Housing Federation of Victoria (CHFV) is the peak body representing community housing organisations in Victoria. CHFV’s member organisations are committed to providing secure, affordable, long term housing for people on low to middle incomes.
CHFV is a lean, but highly motivated organisation. The successful applicant will join an ethical, experienced and established staff team in a collaborative workplace. At CHFV, everyone’s contribution is valued. We problem-solve as a team, everyone’s points of view are respected. The CHFV staff team works closely with members and the CHFV Board.
The purpose of this new position is to advance CHFV’s mission by ensuring that CHFV communicates with its members, Government, the media and other stakeholders in a way that is clear, consistent, timely and effective.
CHFV aims to develop trusted advisor status in respect of affordable housing within Government, the not for profit and corporate sectors and the community.
The position will contribute to positive relationships with CHFV members, Victorian Community Housing Associations and Providers. The role will also be responsible for electronic media communication channels such as twitter and the CHFV website. In addition you contribute to planning, developing and implementing various communication strategies.
The role will report direct to the EO.
