About the role
- Co-ordinate all Community Fundraising requests;
- Drive the development of community partnership events for Monash Health and Monash Children’s Hospital;
- Manage Monash Health and Monash Children’s Hospital signature events;
- Develop and manage all online peer to peer fundraising appeals;
- Secure registrations for third Party fundraising events such as Run Melbourne;
- Support and develop patient and staff relationships within the Monash Children’s Hospital;
- Assistance in the development of innovative systems and procedures within the Foundation; and
- Support other Monash Health fundraising campaigns.

About your opportunity
The role of the Community and Events Fundraising Co-ordinator is to manage community fundraising across multiple fundraising platforms including signature events, third party events, and peer to peer fundraising. This position will align enthusiastic community support for Monash Health with efficient fundraising programs to support urgent funding needs. The successful candidate will also play a vital role in the opening of the new Monash Children Hospital supporting the official opening of the hospital and seeking ongoing support from the community and patients. Working with the Foundation Team, this role will be instrumental to engaging the community in effective fundraising efforts.
All about you Above all else we are looking for:
- An optimistic, adaptable and enthusiastic team player who wants to take Monash Health Foundation to the next level;
- A proven community fundraiser with an understanding of efficient and effective community fundraising initiatives;
- An experienced event coordinator with excellent attention to detail capable of managing events end to end; and
- An individual who is comfortable in a busy work environment and confident prioritising competing deadlines.
More specifically we are looking for a professional with:
- Relevant qualifications in fundraising, events, marketing and health;
- Proven ability in community fundraising;
- Outstanding relationship skills;
- Fanatical attention to detail;
- Obsessive organisational skills; and
- A passion for the sector.
Experience in not for profits will be advantageous.
What we offer you
- Permanent, Full-Time Position.
- The position provides a salary within the range $75,000 – $85,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus superannuation, annual leave loading and the benefits of not-for-profit salary packaging with optional meal entertainment card.
