Community Aged Care Services provide short and long term assistance to older, vulnerable people who may be at risk of homelessness. Our team provides a range of services and clients have choice and flexibility in the way that care and support is provided. This enables them to live independently at home for as long as possible.
Community Aged Care Services is looking for qualified, experienced staff to join our team as Community Support Workers. The ideal applicant will be qualified to Certificate III or have demonstrated equivalent experience. They will be experienced in providing services in line with care plans and will be able to complete clear and accurate progress notes.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated skills in building rapport with clients who have complex needs. They will be required to deliver services such as domestic cleaning, personal care, medication prompting, shopping and social visits and transport to appointments. Successful applicants must have good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to deal with challenging behaviour and competent in the use of computers.
