About the role
Specific responsibilities include:
• Strategic business planning and implementation – formation and translation to operational planning;
• Team management including staff roles and responsibilities, resourcing and performance management.
• Financial management – budgeting and reporting;
• Management of governance requirements including strategies, policies, controls and practices.
• Community engagement activities to aimed at building sustainable community health, facilitate sponsorship, fundraising and volunteer strategies.
Ideal Candidate
• Has experience in leading a passionate and highly skilled team to inspire, empower, foster innovation and create sustainable change;
• Exercises a significant degree of independence, sets own direction to deliver results for the team and the organisation;
• Uses superior relationship management and influencing skills across multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes;
• Takes initiative to understand and analyse issues. Thinks and acts creatively to create solutions, particularly in challenging circumstances;
• Understands the fundamental issues for our client base and the LGBTIQ communities.
Eligibility
• Relevant tertiary qualifications: business administration, health, education or similar is required. Post graduate degree in relevant field is highly desirable.
• Willingness to undertake: Working with Children Check; Criminal Check and Credit Check as a condition of employment.
• Must have a current NSW Drivers License.
