Fundraising Coordinator

• Part Time contract 0.5FTE
• 19 hours per week
• An organisation focused on the safety and protection of vulnerable people children

The Fundraising Coordinator will work with Fundraising & Marketing Manager in raising funds and promoting Baptist Care in collaboration with other staff in line with the Fundraising Plan for Baptist Care

The role includes coordination of the delivery of our Appeals and donor events, our community fundraising programs and liaison with service clubs. The position also provides administrative support for general fundraising activities.

To be considered for this opportunity you must already have:
• Relevant tertiary qualification and professional body membership
• Demonstrated experience in fundraising
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated competency in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a busy work environment
• A working knowledge of legislation relevant to the sector
• Required to work outside of normal working hours from time to time
• Current SA driving licence (Class Car)
• Travel within the state of South Australia

Additionally, you must have or be willing to obtain the following:
• A valid National Criminal History Check – Child-Related Employment Screening (DCSI)

Candidates who have three to five years’ experience in the same or reasonably similar role, previous work experience in a faith based community service environment and experience in donor database, preferably Salesforce will be highly regarded
