Human Resources Advisor – part time

Fantastic opening for a self-motivated HR Generalist with a broad range of HR skills to join this niche community based organisation.

Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for providing HR support and advice as well as implementing HR policies and procedures. This is a small but growing community services organisation.

Job tasks and responsibilities
• Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
• Managing the talent acquisition and recruitment process
• Managing the rostering function and responding to queries
• Ensure Roster changes are compliant
• Award Interpretation (SCHADS)
• Performance review procedures
• Organisational development activities
• Providing advice on employee relations matters
• Supporting key departments as required with HR, Recruitment and Advice
• Supporting employees with induction, on boarding, training and HR support

Skills and experience
• Degree qualified in Human Resources
• Experience in a HR Generalist role
• Good understanding of HR & IR Award interpretation (SCHADS)
• Candidates with not-for-profit or community services experience highly regarded
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a “hands on” autonomous capacity
