The Victorian Refugee Health Network (Network) works to develop responsive health service systems that meet the needs of people from refugee backgrounds, including asylum seekers (http://refugeehealthnetwork.org.au/). The Network is auspiced by the Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture Inc (VFST). (http://www.foundationhouse.org.au/)
We have a role to lead two key Network projects: to undertake consultations and desk based research to update the template used in primary care for on arrival health assessments, and to provide support to a major catch up immunisation project across two Local Government Areas.
We are seeking an excellent communicator, who has a proven track record in project management, a good working knowledge of refugee health, primary care and immunisation.
The position is working 3 or 3.5 days per week, for a 12 month fixed term period. Remuneration is based on our Enterprise Agreement 2014 up to $80,440 gross per annum pro rata.
