University College (UC) is a leading residential College providing accommodation, academic, pastoral and well being support for its tertiary students in a friendly and relaxed community. This vibrant non-denominational College has embarked on a significant capital works project. This will prepare the College for a remarkable and sustainable future in all its dimensions: the student experience, enhanced academic and wellbeing programs, scholarships and facilities. UC will grow to accommodate 340 students.

About the role

– Actively engage alumni
– Enriching College community
– Parkville location with car parking

Reporting to the Advancement Manager, you will act as a point of contact to build relationships and strengthen alumni and community networks, foster fellowship and a sense of connectivity with members of the wider College community. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders as you proactively deliver and enhance the College’s alumni and development programs.

You will also have the opportunity to coordinate and administer the stewardship process, scholarships program, and a range of exciting alumni and development events. Experience and knowledge of the latest donor fundraising, trusts, grants and foundation strategies and statutory applications will be highly regarded.

Utilise your related tertiary qualifications and minimum 1-2 years demonstrated record of success in a similar role along with high level administration and computer skills including MS Office and Synergetic. A key element of the role will be to draw on your acute attention to detail and take responsibility for the alumni database.
