About the organisation
DVRCV aims to prevent violence in intimate and family relationships and promote non-violent and respectful behaviour.
Domestic Violence Resource Centre Victoria works to achieve this aim through strategies which:
Improve the quality of services to those who experience violence
Inform and support those affected by this violence
Inform public policy
Raise community awareness and promote community responsibility for violence prevention
The Domestic Violence Resource Centre Victoria receives core funding from the Victorian Department of Human Services with additional funding from a variety of government and philanthropic organisations.
About the role
The role of the Content Specialist is to develop family violence content for a wide range of audiences from victims/survivors, children, family/friends, government and peak bodies and provide advice on family violence content to both internal and external stakeholders. The Content Specialist will need to ensure they keep up to date with the latest trends in practice and research, including progress of the Family Violence Royal Commission recommendations, so that they can assist all areas of DVRCV.
