About the role

Corporate Grants Coordinator – Position Description

Reports to: Client Relations Manager
Engagement: 37.5 hours (5 days) per week
Location: Sydney

Our service includes program development, management, administration, technology solutions and reporting supported by clear governance and auditing.
Working with some of Australia’s largest companies to help deliver their corporate social responsibility goals, Good2Give has supported businesses and donors to give more than of $155 million to over 5,000 Australian and international communities since 2001, and aims to deliver $300 million to charitable communities by 2020.
The Corporate Grants Coordinator role provides support to all aspects of the grant process including applications, validations and investigating questions the charity applicants or corporate clients may have. Working closely with the Client Relations Manager, who specialises in Corporate Grants Programs, you will deliver exceptional service with a close attention to detail to ensure Good2Give’s service remains the leading choice for many companies.
We are looking for someone who is excited about working in the ‘giving’ space, someone who is interested and experienced in working with community services, workflow software and analytics. We are a small team of 23 (15 based in Sydney), and are very passionate about the opportunities that lie ahead in this developing sector.
Position Responsibilities
Support Client Relations Manager in the areas of:
• Managing administrative aspects of existing Good2Give client online grants program
• Validating applications according to Good2Give and client requirements
• Following processes and flow charts to deliver program results on time
• Managing grants data and updates due to status changes
• Investigating relevant grants enquiries from applicants, recipients and clients
• Extracting and delivering required reports
• Generating distribution of appropriate grants communications
• Actioning relevant client approvals
• Working with Good2Give Finance Team to initiate EFT grants distribution
• Feedback potential improvements and problems
• Contribute to the development of new Good2Give client grants programs

Additional Duties and Development
• To support Good2Give office staff in activities as required
• In time, learn and support Good2Give’s suite of giving solutions including;
o Corporate Foundations
o Workplace Giving
o Advisory
• Oversight of short term contract Administrator role

Requirements and Attributes
• Prior knowledge and experience with the administration and execution of grants programs preferred
• Customer service minded
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Highly organised, with attention to detail
• Excellent numerical/analytical skills
• Database management and accounts experience
• Strong administrative skills
• To represent Good2Give in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Work collegially and courteously with fellow staff
• Ability to work under pressure and organise priorities to meet deadlines
• High level of initiative and enthusiasm, a real self-starter
• Process and outcome driven
• Ability to work autonomously but also as part of a team
• High level of competence with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce
• Interest in the charitable sector
• Contribute where possible to improve service efficiencies
• Familiarity with web based software platforms
