About the role
• Flexible part time hours -15 hours per week
• Temporary for six months with possibility of extension
The Fundraising Coordinator will
• Contribute to the financial stability of the Aunties and Uncles program in Queensland by planning activities and achievement of financial targets including through developing strategies, coordinating grant applications and managing relationships and functions; and
• Leverage internal resources to develop and capitalise on fundraising opportunities including through maximising the benefit of the program’s ambassadors, participating as a member of the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications sub-committee, and managing volunteers.
The ideal applicant will be –
• Passionate about improving the lives of children and engaging the community to support the Aunties and Uncles program;
• An experienced and proven fundraiser; and
• Self-driven, highly motivated and results oriented.
Working days are flexible between Monday and Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Experience in fundraising is essential. Qualifications relevant to the position are desirable. The position is based at the organisation’s premises in Paddington.
