About the role
As part of the DFS team the successful applicant will work with the DFS General Manager, coaches and guest AFL players to promote the DFS, our programs, players and coaches.
DFS programs run throughout the year(Feb – Dec), generally after school hours, on weekends and during school holidays. Applicants we need to be able to attend this sessions as required.
The role will provide a broad range of journalistic opportunities including:
• Assist with DFS social media, website and Newsletter platforms
• Interview and write feature articles on DFS staff, players &
parents
• Report on DFS programs and activities
• Assist in the establishment and running of DFS webinars
• Interview AFL players for DFS platforms
The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal skills, a good knowledge of AFL, the ability to travel to locations around Melbourne and to meet deadlines.
