About the role

The Role:
We are seeking an exceptional professional to collaborate with consumers and service providers to ensure best practice commissioning of primary Drug and Alcohol initiatives which achieve: improved health outcomes, reduced inequalities and better patient experiences across the South Eastern NSW region.
Reporting to the Director of Commissioning, your role will be to commission primary Drug and Alcohol treatment initiatives to improve health outcomes, bringing together initiatives funded through flexible, Indigenous, Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol streams.

The Applicant:
You are an appropriately qualified professional with experience in planning and/or management of drug and alcohol services, particularly in a primary/community setting.
You will have a track record in successfully implementing change and innovation, with a strong consumer focus.
With demonstrated experience in influencing, negotiating and engaging positively with stakeholders (particularly contracted service providers) you will achieve improved outcomes for consumers.
Your highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills will enable you to effectively report on performance to the Executive team and Board
Additionally, you will have a current driver’s licence and be willing to travel as part of this role.
