The Role
The Partnership Manager is a Melbourne based role. Reporting to the Major Gifts Director you will prioritise the raising of funds from a portfolio of individual supporters before developing partnerships with small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and corporates.
Specifically you will;
- Manage a portfolio of existing mid–high level supporters, providing ongoing stewardship
- Raise funds by facilitating opportunities for supporters to give and by making the ask
- Proactively identify mutual beneficial relationships with SMEs and corporates
- Acquire supporters through prospecting activities
- Advocate by attending events and participating in public speaking
- Leverage networks of influential people to further Opportunity’s mission
Skills Required
This role would suit a relationship, sponsorship or corporate fundraiser with experience in establishing cause-related partnerships with a diverse group of corporates, SMEs, philanthropists and influential individuals.
You are passionate about social impact to alleviate poverty by leveraging networks to further the mission of Opportunity. Your confident, proactive, mature and professional approach coupled with the ability to work in alignment with the values of the Christian ethos that motivates Opportunity, will be key to your success.
Remuneration including superannuation and salary packaging available to not-for-profit organisations will be negotiated according to experience.
