About the role
This unique opportunity is available due to a recent restructure within the Corporate Services Directorate based in Footscray. You will work across the organisation, reporting to the Executive Director Corporate Services who is also the Company Secretary, within a well-resourced, contemporary, highly collaborative, bold, progressive, evidence based and values driven workplace.
You will be supported by existing governance, compliance, risk management and performance frameworks, and will provide high level advice and support to the Company Secretary, Board and CEO. You will also be integral in the development and enhancement of performance planning, measurement, monitoring and reporting, supporting a culture of high performance and with the opportunity to steer exciting new initiatives.
Relevant tertiary qualifications, an awareness of issues in healthcare delivery, and professional memberships (AICD, Governance Institute of Australia) will be an advantage. Essential requirements include:
- Experience in initiating and project managing process and/or system change
- Demonstrated experience in the implementation of performance frameworks
- Experience in governance support, risk management, statutory compliance and executive business management support in a dynamic and complex environment
- Highly developed influencing, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills and a strong track record of effective people and workflow management
- The ability to manage varied high priority tasks to deadlines
- Skills in developing and supporting a culture of continuous quality improvement
- Desire to be part of an organisation that is actively engaged with and supports our community
