No To Violence incorporating Men’s Referral Service (NTV/MRS) is a Not for Profit organisation working with men to end family violence. NTV/MRS is a pro-feminist organisation with a mixed gender workforce collaborating to eliminate domestic and family violence.
About the role
With a vision to end domestic and family violence by working with men, we are looking for a suitably qualified and professional NSW Sector Project & Policy Assistant to join our highly dedicated and committed team. This part-time role is an exciting opportunity to work for an organisation which is rapidly developing and growing! The role will include supporting and liaising with the Men’s Behaviour Change network (MBCN) NSW members and other key stakeholders within NSW. It does not matter what your gender is, we are looking for someone who is highly dedicated, motivated, energetic and professional, to help deliver on some of the key initiatives happening within a growing organisation.
Position Objective:
This is a brand new role reporting and working closely with the NSW Sector Development Coordinator. You will be a self-starter and have vast organisational skills, you will provide excellent administrative duties, policy support and coordinate regular ongoing reports, meetings, events and communication. The role will have responsibility for a varied range of projects as well as contribute towards policy communications and advocacy. You will have the opportunity to engage in a range of policy issues and liaise with staff from our Head Office in Melbourne.
