About the Role

It is within this framework we are seeking individuals who have a strong commitment to excellence in practice, a passion for the Not for Profit sector and the specific skills required to contribute effectively to the next phase of our growth.
To complement existing Board skills we are seeking persons with strategic management skills, experience and knowledge in government funding and or senior management experience in Disability (NDIS) and or Community sector management would be highly desirable. We are also looking for a person with a background in marketing, business development, legal and governance. Experience and knowledge in more than one of these areas would be looked upon favorably.
Directors are appointed for a three year term with an option for a further three year term.
About the Organisation
Distinctive Options is a Not for Profit disability service meeting the needs of the community in Sunbury and surrounding towns. As part of the rotation in tenure for board members the Board is currently seeking expressions of interest to recruit Directors.
Our vision is to enable people with disabilities to fulfil their potential and achieve a quality of life in their community. Our mission is to provide real life choices for individuals with a disability and their families.
