The Opportunities

The 2025 Strategy is the driver to advancing UNSW’s ambitious philanthropic goal to build a world-class development and engagement team organisation. Beginning with the appointment of a new Vice-President, Philanthropy in February 2016, we are significantly expanding our team to include the newly appointed positions of Executive Director Development, Prospect Development Manager, Information & Analytics team, and increased head count across central philanthropy services.

UNSW Sydney is now recruiting for Development Managers that, with the broad support of centralised alumni & engagement, prospect development, donor services and stewardship teams, will implement strategies to achieve significant philanthropic revenue targets, and manage a personal portfolio of major gift prospects. The focus is on cultivating and soliciting major and planned gifts in support of the University’s highest fundraising priorities.

About the successful applicants:

You are a successful Development Manager looking for an opportunity to transfer your successful fundraising skills to an organisation with the resources, commitment and leadership to enable you to achieve career-defining philanthropic outcomes or, alternatively, an early-career fundraiser looking to join a best practice major donor fundraiser organisation where you will have access to the support, training and mentoring to progress your career.
