As Donor Relations Officer, you will join our team in the design and delivery of campaigns that promote our brand, maximise supporter engagement, drive philanthropic giving and contribute to social change. We are a team of engaged, friendly and switched on people who enjoy the work we do in changing the world for the better.

The right applicant will go far in this newly created role. This is an opportunity to sink your teeth into a role where growing is encouraged and new ideas are welcomed.

Reporting to the Donor Relations Manager, this role will be involved in but not limited to:
• Contributing to the development of the annual Fundraising and Donor Care plans
• Providing a high standard of donor care across all touch points (phone, email, print and in person)
• Implementing and evaluating stewardship plans for allocated donors in line with service level standards
• Overseeing and growing peer to peer fundraising activities
• Assisting with the planning, execution and evaluation of direct mail campaigns
• Facilitating the delivery of donor engagement activities and events
• Maintaining accurate records of donor engagement into CRM
• Providing regular progress updates against the delivery of annual Fundraising plan
• Supporting the processing of donations and answering donor queries

As the successful applicant you will possess:
• Passion for fundraising and minimum of 1-2 years fundraising experience in the NFP, Church or Diocesan sector
• Tertiary qualifications in Fundraising, Marketing, Business or a related field preferred but not essential (or equivalent experience)
• Experience using and maintaining donor management systems (Donman preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge and application of contemporary fundraising trends and strategies
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite skills

This is a part time position (30 hours per week – flexibility offered for preferred days), and is located in our East Melbourne Office.

An offer of employment and commencement in the position is conditional upon receipt of a successful Working with Children and Police Record check assessment.

CatholicCare is committed to diversity and values its multi-cultural and multi-denominational staff. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.

Our organisation is committed to child safety. We carry out police record, working with children and reference checks to ensure that we are recruiting the right people.
