About the role
We are seeking a full-time Project Officer on a fixed-term contract responsible for supporting achievement of CSIA deliverables within the WorkAbility Qld project.
WorkAbility Qld is a consortium project that aims to grow and develop the future non-government workforce for the National Disability Insurance Scheme in Queensland. Consortium partners are CSIA, Workforce Council, National Disability Services Qld and QCOSS. Further project information can be found at www.workabilityqld.org.au
Reporting to the Project Manager, the role will include a range of tasks and activities focusing on:
- Engage with key employers to understand education and training priorities and support the development of education and training programs
- Liaise with members of the State Advisory Group on key project priorities
- Supporting development of monitoring and compliance reports to funders and other external stakeholders
Skills and Experience
Applicants should have a strong understanding of workforce development and workforce planning issues relevant to the non-government disability service sector.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Knowledge and experience of the Australian tertiary education systems
- Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and its implications for jobs growth and workforce development
- Sound project management, administration and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
