About the organisation
VACCHO is the peak representative for the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people in Victoria and champions community control and health equality for Aboriginal communities. We are a centre of expertise, policy advice, training, innovation and leadership in Aboriginal health. VACCHO advocates for the health equality and optimum health of all Aboriginal people in Victoria.
About the role
• Help build Governance Capacity
• Develop, maintain and update training resources and materials
• 12 months maximum term with possibility to extend
We are looking for someone to support the development, maintenance, review and updating of Governance training activities to Victorian Aboriginal communities and organisations.
In particular, you will have a strong understanding of on-line and e-learning resource development.
The good news is you are not starting from scratch and you will be working within a team that has already been providing intensive support and training to our Members.
You will need experience and a sound knowledge of governance and organisational development and change as well as strong written and verbal communications skills.
Experience working with Aboriginal organisations, communities and individuals in culturally appropriate ways is essential.
