About the organisation
As the social justice arm of the Anglican Church, Anglicare’s mission is to tackle disadvantage, helping children and families break free from the cycle of poverty.
Our work focuses on helping children, young people and families who are homeless or in crisis. We do this through our Survive and Thrive approach.
We also support parents to make sure their children are school ready, and stay engaged with school and post-school training.

Our core mission at Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for children, young people and families. We have a particular focus on serving vulnerable communities in the ACT and regional, rural NSW. Currently we provide a range of community services with a particular focus on our out of home care services in foster care and residential care. We work hard to create a supportive, collaborative working environment where our people feel empowered and inspired.
We have an opportunity for an experienced Regional Manager who can oversee and develop Anglicare’s services in Western NSW. There is potential to grow our community services to support disadvantaged people in the community so your input and drive to help us achieve this will be invaluable.
Specifically your role will include:
- Facilitating the development and implementation of regional and service plans
- Negotiating of funding agreements
- Develop and maintain key stakeholder partnerships
- Participate at a management level in decision making on operational matters and the future development of the organisation
This full time position will be attractive to someone who has strong leadership skills, a background in child welfare and a university degree in human services, preferably social work, psychology or similar. You will be capable of financial management, including preparing budgets and monitoring expenditure.
