Finish each working day knowing you have played a vital
role in improving quality of life for many people.
Your Role
In this role, you’ll lead the National Standards Assessment Program (NSAP) and work with palliative care services across Australia to assist their assessment of meeting the National Palliative Care Standards.
If you are a qualified health care professional with experience in standards assessment and you share PCA’s vision of quality palliative care for all, this could be the career opportunity you’ve been
looking for.
Using your strong analytical and organisational skills, you’ll ensure key cycle dates for services are monitored, provide resources and manage the on-line self-assessment training. Your eye for detail will come in handy, as you take the lead on website development, and content including specifications and documentation.
You’ll be confident to create reports and identify areas for process improvements to the NSAP, based on research, evaluation and trends. Promoting NSAP’s work and achievements is key to the
program’s success, so your ability to build relationships where you can provide support and advice, and be recognised for having expertise in this area is a key part of the role.
About you
You’ll have a qualification in nursing or other relevant health related field and can demonstrate an understanding of continuous quality improvement, including the application and use of standards. You can also bring your experience in managing website development and web content to the table, to help ensure we make the optimal use of our online resources. It’s also important you can demonstrate an understanding of palliative care and the mission of PCA.
If you would like a rewarding part time role where you can enjoy salary packaging, the support of a passionate team and job satisfaction, we would love to hear from you.
