Hireup is an Australian startup, socially driven, for-purpose organisation, run by a small but dedicated team of (big) thinkers, builders and doers dedicated to connecting people with disability and support workers online. The organisation harnesses technology to give people with disability and their families the power to find, hire and manage support workers who fit their needs and share their interests.
In this critical role, you will take ownership of the administration function and all processes that support day-to-day business operations. You will be comfortable managing multiple, competing priorities, and working in a face-paced environment with a high level of ambiguity. You will take pride in your workplace ensuring the physical environment is organized, presentable and functional.
You will be capable of supporting CEO and 5 Team Leaders, and comfortable liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, including board members, external suppliers and the broader Hireup team. Your interactions will be in person, by telephone and email. You will have experience in managing the requirements of the Board, preparing minutes and papers, arranging meetings and ensuring actions are attended to. Additionally, there will ad hoc projects for you to lead and contribute to including events, logistics and anything that comes up! Critical will be your ability to think creatively and act independently to ensure Hireup achieve excellence in operations.
This role calls for a highly organised, resourceful and proactive administrative and business support expert/professional. You will thrive on working in a busy and broad role and will be comfortable with an element of client-facing activities. Your experience will incorporate a wide variety of administrative and office management skills including excellent knowledge of technology and small to medium business requirements.
