We are a respected national leader in end of life care, working closely with consumers, our Member Organisations and the palliative care workforce to improve access to, and promote the need for, palliative care.

This is a key strategic position, focussed on resourcing, improvement, quality and funding of programs to ensure that PCA delivers its strategic aims.

If you have a strong track record in managing national programs and share PCA’s vision of quality palliative care for all, this could be the career opportunity you’ve been looking for.

Using your high level communication skills, you’ll build strong, influential and productive relationships at all levels, with a diverse group of stakeholders. You’ll administer all our national programs to ensure objectives are met, which includes writing reports, budget development and financial management. You will look for opportunities to develop and implement strategies that will maximise synergies among program areas, whilst ensuring governance across PCA’s ethical standards, as well as legislative requirements.

 

About you

Your relevant tertiary qualifications and years of experience in a similar role will enable you to take the initiative in advocating for funding, program development and political support. Your substantial experience in managing national programs, projects or contracts with Government and other funding bodies will set you in good stead. You will have proven experience in the not-for-profit, health or disability sector and understand the environment we are operating in within Australia.
