About the Role
Are you a qualified and experienced counsellor with a passion for trauma informed care, and with three years full-time equivalent experience? Would you like to work in a national service? The Senior Practitioner will guide and provide supervision for a national telephone counselling service for those whose lives have been impacted by domestic, family and sexual violence. Working alongside a Program Leader, the Senior Practitioners will support Specialist Trauma Counsellors by way of assisting with escalations, providing debriefing and professional supervision, and managing a small case load.
Successful candidates must be able to begin on 9th October for a two week full-time induction process.

About the Organisation

This new program will be delivering specialist telephone and online counselling services to people affected by domestic and family violence and sexual assault who have contacted the national 1800RESPECT line.
