About the role

  • Team Leader – Early Childhood Intervention Service

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Team Leader to lead an Early Childhood Intervention service based at Hoppers Crossing and work as part of a transdisciplinary team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children within the community and enjoys working within a dynamic and friendly team.

The position is responsible for overseeing and leading the delivery of high quality, accountable, early childhood intervention services to families and the transition to the NDIS for children 0-8 years. 

Suitable candidates will require:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in allied health (speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology or physiotherapy), early childhood education or primary teaching
  • Highly developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise and consult with a wide range of people at all levels and develop and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Ability to lead, manage and develop staff, including an ability to allocate workload and determine priorities, provide supervision and manage performance
  • Ability to organise, analyse and utilise service provision, performance and evaluation data
  • Ability to develop, monitor and implement service, individual, evaluation, communication and marketing plans

 

This is a Level 3, full time/part time position.  Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience, plus superannuation.  Attractive salary packaging options are available.
