About this opportunity

Wellways recovery and rehabilitation services are designed to work with participants to address key areas that support people who have mental health issues so they can maintain independence and participate in their communities.

The role of Coordinator is to oversight the development and maintenance of the day to day operations and administration of Wellways Recovery and Rehabilitation services in the local area, focusing the Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI) and Community Living Support Service (CLS). This will include partnership and stakeholder relationships, business administration, staff support and supervision.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and committed leader of community based services with demonstrated experience in leading a team and working within programs for people with a mental illness, hold the relevant qualifications and meet the Key Performance Indicators of the Position Description. Strong understanding of the biopsychosocial and harm minimization model of mental health and how social inclusion principles are applied to service delivery is critical to this role.
