The Brotherhood of St Laurence drives change that promotes a compassionate and fair society where everyone has a sense of belonging. The National Disability Insurance Scheme has engaged Early Childhood (ECEI) Partners around Australia to deliver the ECEI approach, with the Brotherhood of St Laurence being the NDIS Partner for the North East Melbourne, Hume Moreland and Bayside Peninsula areas.

The ECEI approach supports children aged 0-6 years who have a developmental delay or disability and their families/carers. Supporting families to help children develop the skills they need to take part in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their life is a fundamental part of the ECEI approach.

With a genuine passion for supporting and empowering children and their families, you have a sound understanding of the early childhood development and disability fields. You pride yourself on your highly developed interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise and build collaborative positive working relationships with children, families and service providers. Motivated by the chance to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children, don’t miss out on these outstanding opportunities at the centre of some of the biggest changes in the disability sector in Australia’s history!

People with a lived experience of disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
