Family Services Worker (Intensive)

Family Services across Victoria are currently entering an innovative period of review and development. As part of this, the Intensive Family Services response is being developed to work with families whose children are subject to Family Preservation or Family Reunification Orders. Intensive Family Services will work intensively with families in partnership with Child Protection (and other services where required), to promote child safety, development and permanency, increasing parenting capacity and improving family functioning

Doncare is seeking a dynamic individual who is willing to embrace the challenge of implementing a new pilot program that is expected to guide the development of Family Services Programs in Victoria.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Family Services the successful applicant will join a team of dedicated staff and partner with them to promote Doncare’s mission and values and support our important work.

This is a fixed term contract position of 30.40 hours per week until 30th June 2018 with the possibility for extension past that date.
