About your opportunity
We are seeking a Project Officer to play a key role in our team. Reporting to the Workforce Coordinator, you will:
• Implement and deliver a project improving participation in national cancer screening programs, such as BreastScreen Australia and NBCSP.
• Collaborate with health professionals in General Practice in the SEMPHN to implement quality improvement models, aiming to increase screening awareness and accessibility for key communities.
• Liaise with external service providers to ensure improvements in patient information and communication systems.
Apply your relationship management skills to drive GP endorsement of cancer screening programs, improving health outcomes for priority communities.
All about you
We are looking for someone with:
• Tertiary qualifications in public health, social sciences or related discipline AND at least 3 years’ experience in a project support role.
• Exceptional relationship management skills and a proven ability to develop positive working relationships with colleagues, health professionals, and communities.
• Demonstrated understanding of medical software, with experience in a GP environment.
• High level organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently, and coordinate multiple elements of a project concurrently.
What we can offer you
This full time fixed term position until 31 March 2018 provides a salary within range $56,400 – $62,420 pa plus superannuation, annual leave loading and the benefits of not-for-profit salary packaging and a meal entertainment card.
