We specialise in:
• Essentials of Humanitarian Practice
• Personal Safety, Security, and Communications
• Humanitarian Logistics in Emergencies
• Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Emergencies
• Negotiation for Humanitarian Responders
• Child protection in Emergencies
• Designing and facilitating customised training and simulations

We are looking for someone passionate about capacity development and have a strong background or extensive experience in curriculum design. In addition, a technical discipline of global health, safety and security within the humanitarian or development sector is highly desirable.
As a Senior Humanitarian Trainer, you will coordinate and undertake a breadth of activities including curriculum development, delivery and student and trainer assessments. Reporting to the Director of Capability, you will work closely with the Training team along with Associate Trainers to deliver a learning experience giving participants the practical skills and knowledge to respond quickly and appropriately in humanitarian emergencies.

Requirements for the role
• Experience leading and facilitating adult learning
• Qualifications in teaching or training would be advantageous
• Proven ability in strong stakeholder and client management across a range of sectors including government, NGO and corporate sector.
• An ability to undertake local and international travel
• It is desirable you also have at least 12 months work experience in the technical discipline of global health, safety and security within the humanitarian or development sector.
