Cancer Council Victoria has been leading efforts against cancer since 1936 through world leading research, prevention, support and advocacy programs. Within the Strategy and Support Division, the Cancer Information and Support Service (CISS) provides information, and support services to help minimise the impact of cancer on the Victorian community and plays a key role in developing and shaping policy response in support of people facing cancer. The Service also provides training and education to health professionals, volunteers and support staff to assist them to deliver best practice clinical care to people affected by cancer.

About the role

About your opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support the implementation of Cancer Council Victoria’s new LMS and Education Strategy. Reporting to the Manager, Education and Training, you will:
•Design and develop online and blended learning and assessment materials for health professionals working in cancer care
•Develop and embed best practice eLearning quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation systems, including tools and resources to optimise user experience, functionality, and compliance.
•Work closely with Program Coordinators within the team and engage with key local and national stakeholders as required.

Play a key role in building the skills of current and future health professionals through innovative online and blended education programs, enhancing information and support provision for Victorians living with cancer.

About you
With a tertiary or vocational qualification in the field of training and development, you will have:
•Substantial experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of blended and online learning suites.
•Demonstrated experience managing learning design projects for different user groups and driving best practice developments.
•Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Moodlerooms and Blackboard Collaborate.
•Well-developed relationship management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Knowledge and experience of eLearning development in a healthcare setting and experience in a cancer related field will be highly regarded.

What we can offer you

This full-time fixed-term position provides a salary up to $83,000 commensurate with the position level and experience, plus superannuation, annual leave loading and the benefits of not-for-profit salary packaging and a meal entertainment card. We offer a flexible and friendly work environment, social and wellbeing activities and a location close to public transport.
