The National Disability Insurance Scheme has engaged Early Childhood (ECEI) Partners around Australia to deliver the ECEI approach. The Brotherhood of St Laurence is the Early Childhood Partners for the North East Melbourne area, Hume Moreland area and Bayside Peninsula areas.
The ECEI approach supports children aged 0-6 years who have a developmental delay or disability and their families/carers. The ECEI approach supports families to help children develop the skills they need to take part in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their life. The ECEI team is a team of experienced early intervention specialists who are responsible for delivering the range of ECEI functions including assessment, planning and interventions in line with the NDIA guidelines and Early Childhood Intervention Australia (ECIA) best practice.

  • Key role within the Brotherhood of St Laurence’s early childhood early intervention team

  • Ongoing positions available in Hume Moreland and Bayside Peninsula area
  • $55,000 – $65,000 per annum plus superannuation, plus allowance in lieu of a vehicle (attractive salary packaging options available)

The ECEI approach supports children aged 0-6 years who have a developmental delay or disability and their families/carers. Supporting families to help children develop the skills they need to take part in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their life is a fundamental part of the ECEI approach.

Qualified in community development, early childhood or a similar field, you possess a keen interest in providing meaningful services to children and their families. You are a confident and effective communicator and hold exceptional customer service skills as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
