About the Role
FULL TIME – FIXED TERM CONTRACT – 6 months
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Marketing Manager will develop and deliver marketing and communication strategies and initiatives to support the evolving needs of the business. This is a newly created strategic yet hands-on role.
As a member of the leadership team you will liaise closely with, and actively support a number of key internal and external stakeholder relationships in order to undertake the major responsibilities of the position. Your ability to influence and gain support from internal and external stakeholders will be central to your success.
You will develop, deliver and manage a consistent and coordinated approach for all marketing, media, advertising, branding and targeted communications that promote the organisation’s vision, mission and values through the production of marketing materials and stakeholder communications including, print, electronic and social media.
The Marketing Manager will contribute significantly to organisational branding, growth, innovation as well as solidifying Inclusion Melbourne’s position as a leader in the disability sector.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
To be effective in this role, the incumbent must have:
A genuine interest in and commitment to Inclusion Melbourne’s vision, mission and values of integrity, potential, individuality and relationships. A degree qualification in a related discipline (marketing/public relations) and/or at least five years experience in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing, communications and business development strategies, preferably within the not for profit sector.
Proven technical ability with digital platforms and an understanding of how to build client base and IM’s brand through social media platforms e.g. Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn.
Proven ability to collaborate across an organisation and be a strategic thinker
The ability to think creatively and problem solve in a fast paced and complex work environment.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including well-developed interpersonal skills
Proven ability to proactively build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Understanding of disability support organisations and issues associated with the not-for-profit sector.
Experience and ability to work with volunteers and community members.
Knowledge, understanding and acceptance of the purpose of the organisation.
Salary is based on the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 and is dependent on qualifications and experience. Generous salary packaging benefits available.
