About the role

•4 days per week (0.8 FTE), Fixed term ending Sept 2018
•$67,697+ per annum (pro-rata) + 9.5% superannuation
•Salary Packaging which provides up to $15,900 tax free
•Pay rise of approximately 4% per annum
•Generous entitlements including cultural leave options and flexible work arrangements
•Located at CMY Carlton Office

Reporting to the Program Leader – Employment Pathways, the Multicultural Youth Worker is responsible for the recruitment of refugee and migrant young people to the Employment Pathways program.

The successful applicant will have:

•well-developed interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills;
•experience providing youth work support;
•knowledge of youth unemployment and strategies that support effective pathways for young people;
•a demonstrated commitment to our principals: diversity, human rights and participation.
