About your opportunity
We are seeking a Priority Communities Manager to join the Screening, Early Detection and Immunisation team. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will:
• Lead a team of professionals to raise awareness and increase participation in cancer screening, early detection and immunisation, with a focus on Aboriginal and culturally diverse communities.
• Plan, implement, manage and evaluate strategies and programs for priority communities.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, service agreements, reporting and program deliverables.
• Collaborate with the Workforce Development Manager to ensure effective program delivery.
All about you
We are looking for someone with:
• A relevant tertiary degree and substantial experience in managing health related programs in a state-wide setting.
• Demonstrated experience working with priority population groups, such as the Victorian Aboriginal community, culturally diverse groups or communities affected by social and economic disadvantage.
• Proven experience working in a leadership role, involving staff management and development; strategic planning; contract management; and budget management.
• Well-developed stakeholder management skills, strong communication and demonstrated business writing and presentation skills.
What we can offer you
This full-time fixed term position to 30 June 2019 provides a salary within range $77,900 to $92,181 pa plus superannuation, annual leave loading and the benefits of not-for-profit salary packaging and a meal entertainment card.
