The Opportunity

The mission of the Oxfam-Monash Partnership (OMP) is to improve development practice and its outcomes for communities. The Partnership does this by bringing together the differing yet complementary resources of the NGO and academic sectors, and combining these to achieve greater development impact that would not otherwise be possible.

OMP is looking for a parental leave replacement for the role of Program Lead to oversee the delivery of applied research projects, student initiatives and public events in support of the Partnership mission. It is responsible for stakeholder engagement and actively seeking out funding in support of joint projects that will enhance the purpose of the Partnership.

To ensure regular communication between with both organisations, the position works between the Monash Clayton campus and Oxfam Australia offices in Carlton each week.
