We do this through 28 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; 30 clinics; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Volunteer Coordinator to coordinate the volunteering activities for the Carols by Candlelight fundraising campaign.
Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator of Volunteers at Vision Australia you will:
Coordination of the volunteering activities for the Carols by Candlelight matching fundraising campaign which includes:
Activating existing volunteers
Recruitment and on boarding of volunteers
Volunteer communications
Training of volunteers
On-site management of volunteers
Chair project meetings
Liaison with Coordinators of Volunteers in Vic, NSW, QLD and potentially other states to ensure delivery of project in those regions
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience in project coordination
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and be capable of chairing meetings
Demonstrated experience in coordinating multiple events concurrently
Extremely well organised
Proven attention to detail to ensure events are conducted professionally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate professionally to a myriad of staff, partners and volunteers
