We do this through 28 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; 30 clinics; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.

An exciting opportunity awaits an Regional Practice Leader (Clinical Lead) to join our team in the Melbourne Inner South East region, based in Kooyong.

Responsibilities

As the clinical lead you will:

Act as the subject matter expert for clinical practice for the Regional Manager and service delivery staff
Ensure that clinical staff are provided with person centred transdisciplinary (clinical) supervision within the region
Ensure that volunteers supporting clinical practice are provided with the appropriate supervision
Oversee caseloads and case reviews, and support the team and individuals by building capability through coaching and mentoring
Work in close collaboration with the Regional Manager to implement change (change champion) in the region that enables Vision Australia’s to deliver the on the strategic plan with a particular focus on clinical excellence
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:

Tertiary Qualifications in a Allied Health or equivalent discipline
Current registration and/or eligibility for membership with your professional body.
Minimum 5 years experience in discipline specific direct service provision.
Demonstrated leadership and/or management experience.
Demonstrated clinical leadership capabilities
Knowledge and skills in working with children, adults and older adults
Well developed knowledge of person-centred approaches and skills in the provision of services and innovations that reflect evidence-based, best practice.
