  • manages global experiences for RMIT students.

About the role

The Role & Your Responsibilities

The Senior Advisor, Stewardship reports to the Associate Director Philanthropy and is responsible for strategy, implementation and management of university-wide stewardship program for donors at RMIT. The incumbent will develop and implement a comprehensive University-wide donor stewardship program which enhances donor relationships with RMIT and increases the likelihood of continued contributions. The program should reflect international best practice, comply with relevant legislation, RMIT policies and procedures, and be easily accessible to relevant internal stakeholders. With one direct report assisting stewardship activity and supporting fundraising staff, this role critical in building the long-term success and sustainability of philanthropy at the university.

Skills & Experience Required

As the successful candidate, you will have experience in a related field, including experience working in donor stewardship. You will also have advanced written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare high quality written reports, speeches and donor correspondence. Excellent organisational and time management skills, including high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities will be imperative to your success in this role.
