Provide respite planning and support for carers of a person with a mental illness, autism spectrum disorder or intellectual disability, the person they care for and their families in accordance with the Mental Health Respite: Carer Support (MHR:CS) guidelines.
This includes outreach work and access to a range of services including in-home support, group activities, social events, carer education, information and referral to other services. The role of the Carer Support Worker will be to plan and facilitate this access, including the administration of brokerage funds as required.
