About the Role

ICMS provides intensive case management to young people (aged 12 to 17) subject to statutory child protection orders, who are at a high level of risk and for whom less specialised services would be ineffective in managing the level of risk or improving the young person’s circumstances.

Responsibilities include:
• Provide intensive case management support to address individual needs of young people and assist in the reduction of high risk behaviours.
• Inform, develop, review and monitor the young person’s case plan in collaboration with the Child Protection Case Manager.
• Advocate, refer and support young people to engage with services and community activities.
• In consultation with the Care Team, ensure Looking After Children records are updated and reviewed within required timeframes.

To be successful you will have a relevant tertiary qualification such as Bachelor of Social Work and a minimum of one year’s experience in the provision of support to young people with complex needs and challenging high risk behaviours.
