Reporting to a progressive CEO as a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for providing sound financial management, planning, accounting and budgeting practices that create value, minimise risk and liabilities, and enhance the overall financial position of the organisation in support of its strategic objectives.
Key accountabilities include financial modelling/testing of new services; procurement of debt finance for major capital developments; managing effective relationships with lending institutions; regular reporting against banking covenants, and overall cash management. Other areas include overseeing procurement practices; administering investment management policy and treasury; insurances; overseeing payroll, and property management.
Commercial acumen, financial nous, highly developed analytical skills and strategic thinking are essential, plus CPA/CA qualifications. You will need proven top management experience and the ability to drive change and innovation. A background in the human services sector would be well regarded.
