About the role
The organisation is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to join the team.
The Chief Operating Officer acts as the ‘second-in-charge’ of Flying Fox, managing all elements of the internal operation of the organisation. The applicant must be an exceptional leader who is motivated to become a passionate advocate of people with a disability and Flying Fox.
The Chief Operating Officer is a member of the organisation’s leadership team and also acts as a the Company Secretary. Therefore, the applicant must be excited by a key role in the development of organisational strategies to support the achievement of Flying Fox’s vision and priorities.
Flying Fox is predominantly youth-led and therefore the applicant must be excited by an environment that values youth empowerment, personal growth and innovation. These elements are core to the organisation and a primary responsibility of the Chief Operating Officer is to mentor less experienced staff members alongside prioritising the professional organisational aims of efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
