Vision Australia is seeking an accomplished professional with a passion for Volunteering, based in our Central Coast and Hunter region.

As a Coordinator of Volunteers at Vision Australia you will work in partnership with Vision Australia team members, volunteers and peers to provide a planned and coordinated service in accordance with identified regional goals. This includes leading and coordinating the development and implementation of volunteer services, promotional activities and fundraising to assist in the provision of all Vision Australia services in the Central Coast and Hunter region.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:

Demonstrated experience in working with and supporting volunteers
Relevant experience in community or disability services
Demonstrated experience in proactive recruitment/community involvement
Experience working with people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
Ability to select appropriate volunteers and match effectively to volunteer demands
