About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager of Marketing & Communications, the Corporate Development Manager works closely with senior managers, the CEO and Board to build the Foundation’s corporate relationships and fundraising opportunities.
Your success in obtaining this role will rely on your experience (at least 7 years) in a business-to-business sales role, preferably in corporate partnership acquisition in a non-profit organisation.
You are a dynamic and goal-oriented person with a strong track record in developing high level strategy in a sales context and a successful track record in closing deals.
You will be responsible for:
-Growing the number of multi-year corporate partners for the Foundation
-Identifying opportunities, building relationships and developing bespoke proposals that identify mutual value from a partnership
-Overseeing a healthy database of prospects and pipeline of approaches, in line with the Foundation’s five year strategy.
-Meeting agreed revenue targets and taking accountability for P&L for corporate partner acquisition.
-Working closely with members of the Foundation’s senior managers, CEO and Board by carefully planning and coordinating approaches to, and responses from, prospective partners.
-Developing and delivering face-to-face pitches and and written presentations.
-A minimum of seven years’ experience in a business-to-business sales role, preferably in a corporate partnership acquisition role in a non-profit organisation.
-A strong track record in developing high level strategy in a sales context.
-A successful track record in closing deals.
-Experience in setting and managing budgets.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of proposal writing.
-Excellent presentation skills, preferably with experience in facilitation of planning sessions
-Naturally comfortable engaging with senior corporate leaders
-Experience using a CRM system (preferably Raiser’s Edge)
-Commitment to work outside standard office hours for key events, if needed.

The Foundation cares for children who have experienced or witnessed violence and runs programs which prevent violence in the lives of children. We play an advocacy role and we are a voice against childhood violence.
